Here at Piggotts we are passionate about sustainability and how we can contribute as a business.
As a leading international supplier of branding materials, we have a responsibility concerning the planet and as part of our commitment to raising awareness and tackling climate change, we offer ecological and recyclable materials.
We actively encourage our clients to consider using our eco-friendly materials when working on new projects. We have applied a special focus to ensure end product quality, vibrancy, and durability whilst ensuring that we have used the purest sources and processes which include:
- Sustainable raw materials
- Eco water-based ink
- Waste segregation in accordance with EU regulations
- PVC free
- Certified to standard 100 OEKO-TEK ®
- Recycled PET bottles
Our eco material options consist of Eco Décor, Textile Mesh, Polymesh and Eco Polyglans. All perfect choices for soft signage, display systems, exhibition and event stands, banners, flags, custom textile projects, teardrop flags and feather flags.
We have already worked with several clients, institutions and organisations in supplying, donating and advising on eco and sustainability projects. We recently donated eco feather flags, a banner, and windsocks to Conservation without Borders to help them along their epic journey for the Round Britain Climate Challenge and at the COP26 summit. WWF came to us for their most recent additions of feather flags to represent their branding. We designed, manufactured, and supplied eco banners to 150 local football teams working with a great client as part of a campaign for The Climate Coalition to support its “Great Big Green Week” where over 5000 events took place. More than 200,000 people showed up for the planet in their community and online and together sent a clear message: “climate change is #TheFightThatUnites, and we need politicians to step up”.
Without increased and urgent mitigation ambition in the coming years, leading to a sharp decline in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, global warming will surpass 1.5°C in the following decades, leading to irreversible loss of the most fragile ecosystems, and crisis after crisis for the most vulnerable people and societies (IPCC). We are committing to using 100% eco-friendly materials and inks by 2030. We’ve made our pledge, what’s yours?
