Prior to joining Therapy at Play, Annie worked in the public school setting where she assessed and treated children with a variety of disorders, including autism, Down syndrome, hearing loss, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, and others. She has thorough experience with receptive and expressive language disorders, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, social/pragmatic differences, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Annie has a passion for creating individualized care plans that go beyond the therapy room to help each child communicate to the best of their ability. She is able to provide treatment sessions in English and Spanish.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her friends, and playing with her sweet nieces and nephews!
