Ann-Michelle Ongerth

Ann-Michelle earned her bachelors in Integrative Biology in 1997 at UC Berkeley & her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2004. She has completed a combination of pediatric & orthopedic courses with a strong emphasis on early intervention, manual therapy, spine, gait, lower extremity, & treatment of the overhead athlete. Ann-Michelle loves helping individuals of all ages & abilities return to the activities & sports that they love. She has gone on to be certified in Active Release Technique ®(ART®) – Full Body & Long tract nerve entrapment, Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Spidertech, Kinesio Tape, as well as attending a year-long Maitland Australian Manual Therapy class, The San Francisco Giants Sports Medicine Conferences, & Myofasical Decompression (Level 1 & 2) to name a few. With a touch of sarcasm & a lot of energy, Ann-Michelle’s treatment style is far from Zen, but her patient’s rehab needs are always the center of each & every session.

Outside of the Physical Therapy setting, Ann-Michelle is mom to a beautiful son, a loyal CAL Bear fan, a competitive Master’s Swimmer racing in both pool and open water settings, & she has completed 7 half marathons.
